Scotland’s Gardens Scheme

Scotland’s Gardens Scheme is a horticultural charity established in 1931, originally to raise funds for the Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland. Today, it opens privately owned gardens across Scotland to the public, with 40% of the funds raised supporting charities chosen by the garden owners and the remaining 60% benefiting four primary charities: the Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland, the Gardens Fund of the National Trust for Scotland, Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres, and Perennial.
